provide a simple and accurate colorimeter for food, fruits and vegetables

We had the following requests : - High accuracy - Large measurement area (Large aperture) compared to colorimeters available on the market, and giving reliable measurements for varied forms, from flat to curve.. - Recording data and providing statistics, classified by batches - Easy to interprete - Easy to calibrate - Large spectrum measurement device for research ACCURACY : The sensor provides a 40nm of full-width half-max detection, and covers all the visible area as well as ultraviolet and near infrared - The sensor used comes with 18 phototransistors, each having a sensitivity in a specific spectrum, according the the graph on the right - The light is provided by 3 leds, one emitting in the UV, one in the visible and another one in the IR MEASUREMENT OF LARGE SPECTRUM ON VARIED SAMPLES : Thanks to the small removable beaker, you can measure the color of any liquid, powder or paste like : Tomato concentrate, fruit juice, dough, syrup, flour, chlorophyll contained in a solution. The beaker can be removed in order to measure any solid sample like apple, pear, tomato, cherry, bakery products and many more. researchers and producers will like to obtain values even in ultraviolet, starting at 410 nm (for testing chlorophyll for example) or in infrared till 940nm (thermal infrared). All the visible range is covered as well with values in the violet, blue, green, yellow, orange and red COMING WITH : The colorimeter comes with a software for Windows, compatible with all Windows versions from Vista nd XP to Windows 10. With the soft, you can calibrate the instrument, display curves, obtain statistics, and export the data to Excel or picture format. A small miror is provided as well in order to calibrate the spectrophotometer The results are easy to interprete : You obtain the intensity of color along the visible, UV and IR spectrum - 18 values are provided for each sample measured If you want to make specific measurements, we can adapt the head in order to fit your requirements.

We had the following requests : - High accuracy - Large measurement area (Large aperture) compared to colorimeters available on the market, and giving reliable measurements for varied forms, from flat to curve.. - Recording data and providing statistics, classified by batches - Easy to interprete - Easy to calibrate ACCURACY : The sensor provides a 40nm of full-width half- max detection, and covers all the visible area - The sensor used comes with 6 phototransistors, each having a sensitivity in a specific spectrum, according the the graph on the right - The light is a white LED with a large spectrum on all visible area MEASUREMENT OF LARGE AREAS : The sensors available on the market were giving values of color while measuring a very small surface of the sample. We think this is not adapted for food, nor any fruit or vegetables, as this kind of products present large variations within the same sample. For a fruit for exemple, the controller prefers to obtain a global balue on a large surface than a value on one small point, that can be a bad indication of global fruit color. The area measured by our colorimeter corresponds to a circle of 10 mm diameter. Thanks to a plano- convex lens. The distance to the sample has a lower incidence than with other colorimeters, which is better for fruits or vegetables curved at the surface (And with various curves) COMING WITH : The colorimeter comes with a software for Windows, compatible with all Windows versions from Vista nd XP to Windows 10.
