Our Analog Texture Analyzer (ATA) has been designed in
order to provide a cheap and accurate solution in terms
of texture analyzis for researchers having a low buget and
making only a few tests per day
Agrosta ATA® Features :
- Available in 20 N (0.10 Newtons resolution) or 50 N (0.250 Newtons resolution) capacity- Fine tuning resolution : 1 rotation makes Z elevation of 0.5 mm (resolution 0.01mm)- Dimensions 32.5 * 8.5 * 8.5 cm- Maximum sample height 12cm- Maximum sample width 4cm- Beaker size (If beaker chosen) : diam 35mm * height 15mm- Comes with :- 4 standard metallic tips- 1 specific tip according to your requirement (Bloom, needle, flat..)- 1 beaker table or hemispheric table or flat table depending on your requirements (Beaker for pharmacy, bloom strength testing, gels and gelatin, dairy products - Hemispheric for fruits and vegetables - Flat for bread, meat or thin products)
Agrosta ATA® Operating mode :
In order to use Agrosta Analog Texture Analyzer :- Place your sample on the table (or inside beaker)- Unscrew the micrometer till the fine tuning table is completely closed (Z = 0)- Unscrew the tray blocking screw, and approach the tip of sample surface till the distance between tip and sample surface becomes less than 1 mm- Screw the micrometer of the table till the sample is touched but without pressure (If a pressure is applied, unscrew a few)- Screw the micrometer to perform the desired stroke- The dynamometer stores always the maximum- In order for thr dynamometer to return to zero, press on the button placed on the dynamometerExample : If you want to make a bloom test :- Place the tip in contact with the gel- Screw the micrometer 4mm- Read the dynamometer value (On the grams scale), this is the Bloom index
